Everything's fantastic! The staff are super friendly and welcoming and the food is phenomenal. I just got a fried chicken sando and WOW!! I have to try the wood-fired ribs next time.
The fried chicken sandwich was the best I’ve had - tender, juicy, so flavorful. The pickles must be housemade. Truly next level.
Level Up by Echelon: Food Truck Fine Dining! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Forget everything you think you know about food trucks. Level Up by Echelon is in a league of its own. While the portions might be a tad smaller than your average food truck fare, the flavors are HUGE. Every dish is an explosion of taste and texture, with a complexity you'd expect from a high-end restaurant, not a truck on the street. The quality of ingredients and the creativity of the chefs is truly unreal. It's clear they're passionate about pushing culinary boundaries, and it shows in every bite. We're already huge fans of the Level Up truck and can't wait for their brick-and-mortar restaurant to open! If the food truck is any indication, it's going to be an absolute game-changer in the Ann Arbor food scene.
Can highly recommend this place. The food is great and honestly pretty reasonably priced. Their Pan Perdu (effectively a french toast dish) is incredible and 100% worth ordering
I’m a big fan of the chilled corn soup with crab. Every bite..delicious. Someone is thinking creatively and it works! Didn’t have time for a full meal but will be back. Thanks Ben, for your professional service.
Absolutely phenomenal! The food was unique without trying too hard. They are currently a food truck without food truck food. We had the chilled corn soup with crab meat. The wood roasted corn added just a hint of smokiness and tiny bites of crunch. The crab was fresh and an ideal amount for the bowl of soup. We also had the wood roasted prawns, which was served over glass noodles. My GOODNESS the flavors just WORKED! I couldn’t identify what the seasoning was, just that there were layers. It felt complex on my palette, yet not overly done. Definitely one of the best tasting prawns I’ve ever eaten. It is clear that the chef has trained abroad, as the influences revealed themselves in the flavor profiles of the food. If you want a unique dining experience, you’ll want to Level Up! One note-serving sizes are small, like tapas. Second note-Ben, our server (and manager) knows his stuff. They all do though, and they’re passionate about their food, so ask questions and let them shine! Third note- while they don’t sell wine (no liquor license), they do offer complimentary wine and you can bring your own. Well done, Level Up!
Not your typical food truck! Really enjoyed my meal here. Had the halibut with farro, green vegetable salad, and the creative corn dessert. Everything was outstanding. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a new place to try.
Highly recommend! The wood fired shrimp and noodle dish was absolutely delicious. We also shared a bowl of chilled corn soup with crab and a mushroom flatbread. Everything was really tasty and fresh, and there are several vegetarian options.
